A 56-year-old man is dead after being struck by a vehicle in Anderson. Police told us it happened near the intersection of 53rd and Madison Avenue at approximately 8:44 p.m. on Monday. Victor Manuel Mateo Perez of Anderson was walking near the intersection when he was struck by a vehicle traveling on 53rd Street. He died of his injuries.
