The Thursday death of a local man, believed to be the result of an industrial accident at a Muncie plant, remains under investigation. The Star Press reports 50 year old Robert Meiring was welding at the Progress Rail plant and appeared to become ill, possibly having had inhaled gases that caused breathing problems.
