BSU Prez: “What I Learned…”

What he learned – A couple of weeks ago there was a forum with BSU Pres. Mearns at Muncie Central High School, and last week when I had him on WMUN’s Delaware County Today, I asked him about it

Words of appreciation from a Congresswoman

That’s the 5th District’s Victoria Spartz on WMUN last week – she also appears on our Oldies 101, as well as our aggressive list of scheduled newscasts on our 5 formats in ECI.

Last week when music leader Isaac Deniston was on WMUN, I asked the Northside Middle School staffer about their upcoming annual Veteran’s Day event

we have Nov. 11 as the three events in one day – Principal Ben Williams is a guest tomorrow on WMUN’s Delaware County Today at 8:15 a.m.

Making sure you heard:  the MAC announced 8 p.m., as the kick time for the Nov. 5 BSU home football game.  For election night, the helmets will have a dancing Charlie Cardinal holding an American flag.  Pregame 7 p.m. on WMUN.

Wanting to share Christmas early – The weather doesn’t feel at all like the holidays, but the work now is important for Christmas Assistance.  Salvation Army Muncie Major Curtiss Hartley on how it works

Could be the second time in recent months – Another Magistrate decision coming on Nov. 12, at the request of the Delaware County Prosecutor’s office.  They want the 14 year old boy charged as an adult, in the case that deals with him driving the stolen car in that Oct. 8 crash on Madison Street in Muncie, injuring several, and killing 52 year old Meisa Cope.  Other charges are also pending against the unnamed youth, who remains in custody according to the Star Press.

Election night Radio coverage will be heard on 104.1 WLBC, due to WMUN’s Ball State football game.  On Oldies 101, Democrat Greg Graham and Republican Joanna Collette will join anchor Mitch Henck beginning at 7 p.m.  We will focus on local and state races, and we’ll watch the Presidential race from network sources.
