Delaware County schools have received more than $446,000 in state grants for safety upgrades.
The money is provided through the state’s Secured School Safety Grant Program, established as part of the state’s biennial budget passed in 2023. MCS, Yorktown, Wes-Del, Daleville Inspire Academy and Burris Laboratory Schools are among the recipients.
