The city of Muncie received $1.5 million in funding from the Indiana Community Crossings Grant. The amount received through the grant must be matched by the city and be used for local road and bridge projects. Local paving projects to be financed with the grant and matching funds include those on Burlington Drive , Granville Avenue , Meeker Avenue, North Walnut Street and West Jackson Street.
