An Alexandria man has been found guilty of being a serious violent felon in possession of a firearm. The Herald Bulletin reports 54 year old Samuel Thompson was found guilty on the felony charge and a misdemeanor charge of possession of paraphernalia. Sentencing is set for January 10th.
