The Indiana Court of Appeals has upheld the murder conviction of a Winchester man, and his resulting 64-year prison sentence. According to the Star Press, 64 year old Monty Cook was found guilty of killing his neighbor David Brumley, who was found suffocated in his home in November 2018. Cook had claimed there was insufficient evidence to warrant a guilty plea and his sentence was too harsh.
