They’re known as ‘baby boxes’ and their purpose is to save children. The City of Anderson will soon have one. Officials say funding is in place for the Safe Haven Baby Box. Its proposed placement will be at Fire Station 8 on 53rd Street. No officials word yet on when the box will be installed.
