A nearly $60,000 welfare fraud case leads to the arrest of a Muncie woman. 51 year old Rachelle Thomas of the 1800 block of East Willard Street is charged with welfare fraud, theft and perjury after authorities say she received that amount in Social Security disability pyaments, while also earning a substantial amount of other income. She collected those payments for close to three years.
