Council Approves It; Owner Says No Offer Accepted

The Delaware County Council has approved it, but the owners of the former Wilson Middle School still haven’t accepted an offer to sell the building. ASONS bought the former school after it was closed and has marketed it for sale at 4.9 million dollars. If the school is purchased, the county intends to spend 37 to 45 million dollars to turn it into a 500-bed jail.
