A few school districts serving students in grades K-12 in Madison County & nearby communities are offering gun safety instruction. Shenandoah Community Schools Superintendent Ron Green says his district has worked with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources to offer various safety courses. The National Rifle Association’s GunSafe program has also been taught at a select number of schools.
