A proposed Casey’s General Store at the intersection of Mounds and Scatterfield roads is a step closer to reality. The planning commission has approved a preliminary plat for the store after the zoning was changed for the 2.47 acre plot. The project needs approval for the secondary plat and a special exception by the Anderson Board of Zoning Appeals at the April meeting.
