The Star Press is reporting that some students at East Washington Academy were wearing coats during class because it was so cold in the school recently. A Twitter post of what was happening got the attention of the Mayor and a soon-to-be board member, who called the situation ‘unacceptable. The maintenance manager knew of no preventive maintenance program in place to keep the system up to speed. A district maintenance plan is currently in the works.
