One man is dead – two others injured – in an attempted robbery near the Ball State campus. It happened at the Bethel Avenue Apartments when intruders broke into a woman’s apartment. She fired gunshots at the attackers, killing 22-year-old Trayon Lawaun Turner of Indianapolis. Another of the intruders was wounded as was another occupant of the apartment.
