Frankton High School American history and government teacher Kevin Cline has been named the 2016 National History Teacher of the Year. Cline will receive a $10,000 award and attend a ceremony in his honor on Oct. 24 in New York. The award, offered since 2004, is intended to highlight the importance of quality history instruction from elementary through high school.
