Eight Apartments Lost In Applecreek Fire

The fire was contained to four units; unfortunately it caused damage to a total of eight apartments at the Applecreek complex on Anderson’s south side. The building near 60th Street and Columbus Avenue, received an estimated $400,000 in damages. Although the fire is still under investigation, it is believed that the blaze broke out on the porch of a second-story apartment.
