The city of Elwood currently bans pigs as pets, but one resident is demanding the town take action to overturn the ban and return her pets after they escaped. The woman says that her pigs had never escaped before, but they did, and were picked up by the Elwood Animal Control officer. The city council will reconsider an ordinance amendment at their next meeting next month.
