A Kentucky man has been arrested after allegedly firing a gun near the Ball State University campus. It happened as two Muncie men were talking to two young women in a vehicle, near Ashland Avenue and Dill Street. Two other men arrived, saw them talking to the women, fired the gun in the air and then pointed it at them. 24-year-old Deon Lamar Young was arrested on charges of intimidation with a deadly weapon and criminal recklessness. Three other occupants, a man and two women, were not arrested.
