The first draft of a plan to rehabilitate the Muncie Fieldhouse has been unveiled. In addition to foundation work, the Fieldhouse also needs to be brought up to standards, which means potentially adding an elevator and air conditioning. Muncie Community Schools is now teaming up with city leaders to create a plan that could make the Fieldhouse the anchor to the downtown revitalization project. The next step will be how to pay for it.
