One million dollars will be spent on local roads and bridges. Delaware Co got the money from the State Department of Transportation, part of 47 million dolllars in matching grant funds for projects in 102 Indiana communities. Delaware County’s portion is being split between Daleville and Eaton. Henry, Randolph Richmond and Wayne Countys all got money, along with funds going to Winchester. Delaware County officials say Bridge 156 over the White River, and Bridge 159 over Prairie Creek will get some needed attention.
