Payday could be close at hand for city employees in Anderson . City council is considering a proposal my the mayor to include $600 salary increases for workers. The past two years saw those employees receive a $450 increase. Also, there is no health insurance increase sought in the new spending plan after a 7% increase last time around. The pay raise will be a permanent part of the city’s payroll and increase retirement benefits for city employees.
