An ambulance transporting a patient to IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital collided with a car Wednesday afternoon in Muncie. Police say it happened at Main and Mulberry Streets. The driver said she heard the sirens but didn’t see the ambulance and the vehicles ran into each other at the intersection. Police say there were two things that went wrong; the car driver failing to yield and the ambulance not slowing down at the intersection with a red light. The driver of the second vehicle complained of minor injuries.
