INDOT made it official. The Madison Avenue Bridge over Interstate 69 opened Monday after completing a $1.9 million construction project one month ahead of schedule. Construction crews closed the overpass on May 21 to remove and rebuild the bridge and county road approaches. The new steel beam structure measures about 221 feet over the interstate in four spans.
