An Indianapolis EMS ambulance was involved in a wreck Tuesday afternoon while the crew was transporting someone to the hospital. A news release from the ambulance service said that patient was in critical condition when the ambulance ended up in a wreck with at least three other vehicles. The EMS crew was taken to the hospital to be checked out while the patient was transferred to another ambulance. The cause of the wreck is under investigation.
