A trooper with the Indiana State Police shot a robbery suspect at an Anderson Ricker’s store Monday morning. The trooper walked into the gas station and was told by the clerk the store had just been held up, and then pointed outside to the suspect in his car. The trooper confronted him, the man pulled a gun and the trooper fired, hitting the suspect in the wrists. 22-year-old Ricky Zimmerman of Pendleton was taken to the hospital for treatment. His injures not life threatening. The trooper was not injured.
