The state health department says they expect to see more people contract West Nile virus. So far, there has been one person with a confirmed case of West Nile and that is in Marion County. But, mosquitoes with West Nile have been found in Benton, Hamilton, Jennings and Marion counties. You can protect yourself by using repellant with deet and getting rid of any standing water where mosquitoes can breed.
