IPL Not Playing Around With Pokemon App

It’s the latest craze, but Indianapolis Power and Light isn’t playing games. IPL warns players of the popular Pokemon GO app to stay away from substations, power lines, transformers and other electrical equipment. The game application uses actual buildings and landmarks and some players mistakenly believe they can catch electric types of Pokemon near substations or transformers. Instead, you may be putting your safety at risk.
