In other news, a Jay County felon whose drunken driving crash killed a Pennville teenager has been sentenced to 12 years in prison. That’s the max sentence allowed by law. The man, Bryce J. Paxson had pleaded guilty to causing death when driving while intoxicated. The crash on October 30th of last year happened when the man’s pickup truck crashed into the living room of the victim’s home in Pennville. 16-year-old Seth Corwin was killed. He was a junior at Jay County High school, a member of the marching band drum line.
