The Indy Star is reporting today that Representative Todd Rokita, who wants to replace fresh foods in school lunches with canned or frozen foods, has received thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from food processing industries. He says his bill is to save money. A second bill he’s sponsored makes it more difficult for high poverty schools to qualify for free lunches.
