In Yorktown, after a person reportedly was seriously injured while jumping from a closed bridge over White River, officials are stepping up enforcement of the no trespassing law. Delaware County Commissioner Shannon Henry told the Star Press she heard the individual jumped into the water and broke his back. The Department of Natural Resources will be out looking for trespassers and issue citations.
