Democrats have formally nominated their statewide ticket for the November election. Governor nominee John Gregg announced Indianapolis Representative Christina Hale as his running mate last month, but the nomination wasn’t official until a voice vote at Saturday’s state Democratic convention. The delegates also ratified the re-nomination of state school superintendent Glenda Ritz and picked former Judge Lorenzo Arredondo to run for attorney general. Like Hale, both were unopposed.
