Indianapolis Police arrested 26 people Saturday in the largest operation in IMPD’s history. More than 150 officers from federal, state and local agencies targeted homes on the city’s north, northwest and east sides as part of ‘Operation First Step.’ They say it’s just the first of many such operations geared toward reducing violent crime.
