Muncie police say they were trying to help a drunk man in a cab get to his mom when he got combative and pounded his head on the cruiser’s cage. At the hospital he kicked and spit at the cop’s face all while having a blood alcohol level twice the legal limit. That sent him to jail on assault charges. He already has a court case pending in August for battery and other charges.
