A Muncie woman died nearly two years ago after a fall at Red Lobster and now her estate is suing for wrongful death. The lawsuit filed Friday claims 71-year old Sharon Kay West died from the restaurant’s negligence after she tripped on a lock mechanism sticking up from the bottom of the door jam. She suffered head and facial trauma and died 17 days later.
