An Army veteran was killed coming back to Pendleton from the Rolling Thunder motorcycle rally honoring Memorial Day in DC on Sunday. 66 year old Craig Vanbrunt was killed when he came upon stopped traffic on I-66 at the Rosslyn Tunnel just outside DC. He tried to stop and lost control of the bike just after 4 p.m. He was wearing a helmet and died at the George Washington University Hospital.
