It’s taken nearly two years, but the Madison County Prosecutor’s office has decided not to file criminal charges in the death of a seven week old Anderson baby. The child, Aria Layman, died under what was called unusual circumstances after the coroner suspected sexual trauma. The prosecutor says the investigation showed what appeared to be trauma may be normal for an infant.
