Former deputy strikes deal in stolen ammo case

A now-retired Delaware County deputy has agreed to plead guilty to stealing ammunition from the county and selling it to friends and online because he was having financial problems. Arlan Johnson will appear in court on August 11th. He was a firearms instructor for the sheriff’s department and reportedly took at least $8,500 worth of ammo and sold it. He had been a county deputy for 29 years.
