A Pendleton prison inmate died on Monday after being restrained by corrections officers. 32-year-old Justin Addler reportedly showed a weapon in his cell and was restrained then taken to the prison health care center for treatment. He was found unresponsive in an observation cell and pronounced dead at a local hospital later that afternoon.
