The state nursing board has reinstated the license of a pain nurse who is linked to the deaths of three patients for drug overdoses. 62-year-old Susan Adams-Hayes has demonstrated to the board she can practice competently and her license is probationary indefinitely. She had prescriptive authority while working for a doctor who is facing criminal charges in those patients deaths.
