The four former municipal employees of Anderson who won their lawsuit against the city for violating their free speech rights can’t be rehired because someone else has already filled those jobs, according to the city’s lawyer. Now the U.S. District Court of the Southern District in Indiana will decide if the city needs to compensate or rehire them.
