Thousands of people rallied at the Indiana Statehouse Saturday in protest of the state’s new abortion law. Tensions rose throughout the day with protestors exchanging heated words with pro-life supporters who also showed up. The controversial new law is set to take effect in July and bans abortions based on a fetus’ race, sex, or ancestry. Planned Parenthood and the ACLU have filed lawsuits seeking to block the law’s implementation.
