Thousands of EC Indiana residents were without power over the weekend as strong winds swept the area. Gusts of up to 55 miles per hour were reported with a period of sustained 40+ miles per hour winds. Trees were toppled; power lines downed and semis were reported to be blown off the road in Blackford and Grant Counties. There were more than 60-thousand outages reported throughout the state.
