The Indiana Department of Transportation has awarded a $530,000 contract for various intersection and railroad crossing improvements in Anderson. The funding will pay for projects including installing new traffic signals on Scatterfield Road at 53rd Street, new sidewalks at the railroad crossing on State Road 32 near the intersection of John Street and constructing a concrete median on State Road 9 near two CSX railroad crossings south of Mounds Road.
