An Elwood man’s request to have child molestion charges was denied yesterday in Madison Circuit Court. 42-year-old Chad Hobbs was arrested in December for alleged incidents with two children, ages 5 and 7 that happened over about 18 months from the summer of 2014 through last December. Judge Mark Dudley did not explain why he denied the request for dismissal.
