A Muncie man arrested early Monday is accused of slashing his former roommate’s neck with a box cutter, then stealing his cash and cellphone. 31-year-old Nicholas Daniel Smith, of South Mound Street, is charged with robbery, aggravated battery and theft. He was being held in the Delaware County jail under a $52,500 bond.
