Richmond company fined for OSHA noise violation

A Richmond company has agreed to pay a fine to settle an OSHA complaint about exposing employees to noise that exceed acceptable levels. Vandor Corp. on W. Industries Rd. had employees using staplers exceeding 85 decibels and did not train employees on hearing conservation. OSHA says noise is one of the most pervasive occupational health problems in the workplace.
