A Purdue employee has resigned after a firestorm of protests arose after his comments on social media about rape. A spokeswoman says Jamie Newman, an accompanist in the Division of Dance, made comments on a national pro-life news site about rape and abortion, and were linked with comments he’d made earlier on a Facebook group.
