About 60 people this week gathered to learn more about the proposed Mounds Greenway project. The greenway would extend from Anderson to Muncie along the White River and conserve approximately 2,300 acres in a natural state. The plan could cost as much as 40-million-dollars. An economic study is expected to be released in March, with community meetings to be held in Anderson, Chesterfield, Daleville, Yorktown and Muncie.
