A resolution that would rename a portion of Interstate 65 after a famous Hoosier has passed through committee. House Concurrent Resolution 14 would encourage the Indiana Department of Transportation to change the name of I-65 between exits 34 and 50 to “John Mellencamp Way.” The resolution now goes to the full House for consideration.
