Muncie officials say they plan to support a resolution declaring support for Muslim citizens and condemning anti-Muslim hate speech and violence. The resolution was proposed by Mayor Dennis Tyler. The Muncie City Council will consider the resolution at an upcoming council meeting. The Mayor says the city appreciates the Muslim community and wants them to feel welcome.
